What Farnsla's Shopify setup currently asks merchants to do

How do I enable the Farnsla chat widget in Shopify?

In Farnsla's Shopify setup page, use Open Theme Editor. In Shopify Theme Editor, open App embeds, turn on Farnsla AI Chat Widget, and click Save.

Do I need to edit my theme code?

For Farnsla's embedded Shopify flow, no. The current setup uses a Shopify theme app extension / app embed flow, so activation happens from the Theme Editor rather than by manually editing theme files.

The widget is not showing on my storefront. What should I check?
  • Confirm the Farnsla AI Chat Widget app embed is turned on in the correct theme.
  • Click Save in the Theme Editor after enabling it.
  • Refresh the storefront and send a test message.
Where do I manage chatbot instructions and FAQs for Shopify?

In the Shopify embedded app, open Get Setup and use the Instructions & Knowledge Base section. That is where Farnsla currently stores the chatbot instructions, FAQ content, policies, and brand details.

How the embedded Shopify pages currently behave

Why does Farnsla sometimes tell me to reopen the page from Shopify Admin?

The embedded pages need Shopify context such as the shop and host values. If that context is missing, Farnsla cannot complete embedded actions reliably, so the page asks you to reopen it from Shopify Admin.

How are embedded Shopify requests authenticated?

Farnsla's embedded Shopify pages use session-token based requests. Shopify's docs say embedded apps should use session tokens, and embedded pages should use the latest App Bridge.

What does the Theme Editor button do?

Farnsla builds a Shopify Theme Editor URL for the current store and opens the editor in the apps context with the app embed selected, so you can enable the widget and save the theme.

Does the Shopify app run inside Shopify Admin?

Yes. Shopify App Bridge is built for apps that render inside the Shopify admin surface, and Farnsla's Shopify pages load with App Bridge metadata and embedded redirects for admin workflows.

What merchants can expect from plan approval and support

What happens when I start a paid Shopify plan?

Farnsla starts the subscription flow from the embedded app, then redirects you to Shopify's approval screen. After approval, you are returned to the pricing or billing flow inside the app.

Where do I see my Shopify plan or message usage?

Use Farnsla's Shopify Overview and Billing pages. The current app surfaces show usage, remaining credits, and subscription status from inside the Shopify embedded experience.

How do I get help from the Shopify app?

Use the current Feedback & Help page inside Farnsla's Shopify dashboard, or reach out through the contact page.
